The China - Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) is a program established by the Chinese government to promote educational, cultural, and economic exchange between China and other countries. 1. Types of Scholarships: 

   Bilateral Program:

 For exchange programs based on educational exchange agreements or MOUs between China and other governments, institutions, universities, or international organizations.

   Chinese University Program: 

For international students to study in Chinese universities directly.

   Great Wall Program:

 For candidates from developing countries, administered by UNESCO.

   EU Program:

 For EU citizens to study in China.

   AUN Program: 

For ASEAN University Network students.

   PIF Program:

 For Pacific Island students.

   WMO Program:

 For students supported by the World Meteorological Organization.


2. Coverage:

   Full Scholarship:

 Covers tuition, accommodation, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance.

   Partial Scholarship: 

Covers one or some of the items of the full scholarship.


3. Eligibility:

   - Non-Chinese citizens.

   - In good health.

   - Academic qualifications and age limits vary according to the program:

     - Undergraduate programs: High school diploma and under 25 years old.

     - Master's programs: Bachelor’s degree and under 35 years old.

     - Doctoral programs: Master’s degree and under 40 years old.


4. Application Process:

   - Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study in your home country.

   - Choose the target universities and programs from the CSC's recommended list.

   - Submit the application documents to the dispatching authorities before the deadline.


5. Required Documents:

   - Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or English).

   - Notarized highest diploma.

   - Academic transcripts.

   - Study plan or research proposal.

   - Recommendation letters.

   - Foreigner Physical Examination Form.

   - Valid passport copy.

   - (For art students) a portfolio.
