EDISU Piemonte Scholarship

 Introduction 



The EDISU Piemonte Scholarship is designed to support students in the Piedmont region of Italy, including both Italian and international students. The scholarship covers a variety of financial aids including living allowances, accommodation, and meals, and it is primarily need-based.


 Eligibility and Requirements:

1. Economic and Merit Criteria: 

Applicants must meet specific economic (ISEE/ISPE) and merit requirements.

2. Enrollment:

 Students must be enrolled in a university in Piemonte.

3. ISEE Parificato: 

International students with family living abroad need to provide ISEE Parificato, which is calculated based on their family's income and assets.


 Application Process:

1. Online Application: 

Applicants must fill out the application on the EDISU portal and submit it along with necessary documents like income certificates, property certificates, bank statements, family details, and passport copies.

2. Deadlines: 

The application period typically opens in May-June and closes in August-September.

3. Document Submission: 

After the online application, students must send physical copies of their documents to the EDISU office by courier.


Scholarships and Grants:

1. Main Scholarship:

 Provides financial support for living expenses, accommodation, and meals.

2. Integrative Grant for International Mobility:

 Additional support for students participating in international mobility programs. This grant is given on top of the main EDISU scholarship and amounts to €600 monthly for the period spent abroad.

 Typically ends in late August or early September.

Provisional Classification:

 Published in July.

Final Classification:

 Published in December.

Payments:

 Distributed in two installments, with the first installment paid in August and the second in December.
